Sara Explained!: How to Get Sara in Your Party Revealed!(Joke Thread)

Okay.  After fiddling around with certain things, I found this highly-wanted information...  So here's how you get Sara to join your party in Chrono Trigger.  Some of you may not like this, however...

- In the Ocean Palace, during the Lavos incident, have Chrono walk over to Sara and talk to her.  She won't say anything useful, but do it anyway, then proceed as normal.
- Later on, at the Northern Cape, have Kaeru kill Maou by himself.  You'll get Sara's Charm as usual.  Edit: Yes, killing Maou with anyone else seems to work as well, seeing as you'll get Sara's Charm either way.  I thought you had to kill him with Kaeru alone.  Sorry.
- Equip Sara's Charm on either Marle, Lucca, or your first member if neither are in the party.(You'll see why in a minute.)
- Go on the Death Peak side-quest.  Complete it as normal up until the peak.
- Now, here's where it gets tricky...  If you have either Marle of Lucca in your party, they will be the one to save Chrono from being vaporized by Lavos.  If not, it's always your first party member.  In either case, make sure they have Sara's Charm equipped as their Accessory!
- Everything will proceed as normal.  Once you get into the time lock, however, walk over to Sara and talk to her.  If your character has Sara's Charm equipped, Sara will wake up and blink at you, asking where you got that trinket.  Your character will then explain the fall of Maou and Sara, though upset over the loss of her brother, will join your party.
- Unfortunately, if you save Sara, Chrono stays dead forever.

So to recap, if you want Sara in your party, you not only have to kill Maou, but Chrono has to stay dead as well.  Is it worth it?  Maybe...

Sara's Techs:
☆Thunder - 2 MP
☆Energy Ball - 4 MP
☆Thundaga - 8 MP
☆Raise - 10 MP
☆Skygate - 12 MP
☆Curega - 15 MP
☆Shining - 20 MP

Sara also doesn't use "weapons," persey.  She attacks with a magical force.  Like Ayla, her attack depends on what level she's at.  In addition, her chance to Critical is based on how much MP she has left, odd as it may seem.  Roughly, she has about as much attack power as Lucca or Marle, for comparison.

Aye. Besides, it wouldn't be worth it. You'd lose the two most powerful characters in your party, just for Schala. Nuh-uh. I'd keep Crono and Magus.

Well, I have no idea what you could change the requirements to, but you could always change the picture to, say, Lucca, Marle, and Schala. Then perhaps make up a couple more screens, like an equipment screen, maybe showing her having a dual or triple tech, that kind of thing. Maybe she can substitute for Magus in all of his triple techs? Then all you'd have to do is alter a picture to show Schala involved in the tech instead. Of course, that would depend upon your Photoshopping skills.

Aye, that it does. Nicely done, too. 'Course I still can't read Japanese worth anything, but that's not the issue. Now all we need is an unsuspecting recent fan to throw these pictures upon. You know, the type that would believe any rumor, the type that went crazy trying to get General Leo back in Final Fantasy VI or something.

A friend of mine tried that with some images of the Crystal Monster from Super Mario RPG being in the colloseum in Final Fantasy VI, but for whatever reason, no one believed him.  ._.  I guess GameFAQs people aren't as dense as everyone believes.  Even if the staffers are.

Haha well now that I think about it you're probably right.
Besides this topic was discussed so much when I went to the GameFAQs Chrono Trigger board a few years ago that I doubt they'd believe this.  They probably already state in the stickied FAQ that you can't get Schala as a playable character.

I remember doing something like this except I made it with Schala doing Luminare and her fake 6 letter name in the menu.  (English) >__>  But still, very nice ^_^ I like this xD
