(*sweatdropped*). what the? i'm gonna do that to my psp too. didn't know you can do that. can  you do it with other psx games for your psp?

yeah.. but before you do that.. READ a lot first... and i mean READ! coz if you messed up.. you can brick your psp...  read more stuff if you goin to hack your psp..

yeah.. you can play all your psx games...

TIPS: you need a FIRMWARE 1.5 psp.. then upgrade to 3.10 OE-A' by Dark alex.. pm me for more details.. :D

or just buy them through the PS3 thingy but thats only if you want to be legal about it and not warez the games like most of the internet

better yet.. you can rip your own ps1 games.. if you legally have them..

PS3s are dells now? ive heard more about exploding/faulty 360 power packs than exploding PS3s most console review site/magazines lie about a ton of shit don't trust there figures on anything >_>

torrenting PS1 games is a waste of bandwidth too, its good for getting imports but when you can by them $2-$10 a game its easier to rip them yourself

Ya, I guess your right about that, but still, I never go right out and buy a system when it's brand new, to many bugs are usually still in it :?  I say that because when my old fat model of the ps2 fried on me, I shelled out the 200 washingtons to get a new slim model, and due to the smaller fan, it overheats way to fast :x

the slim model failed badly, you had to keep it really well circulated compared to the PSX, it was only really thiner too instead of overall smaller which was stupid.

most of the great games are harder to find because all the stores with cheap PS1 games usually stock the generic 'racing clone NO# 324324324' and so forth.
its easier to torrent the rarer ones or buy them online for abit more

Really? I've got a slim PS2 and it hasn't overheated or otherwise been damaged at all. It works beautifully, and it's not like it's that hard to keep it well-circulated.

depends where it is, i have alot of consoles and we keep them under the tv so if we had a slimline it would probably overheat since it wouldnt have too much air space on either side.
its not really hard to keep them cool but if you dont have the room then it becomes a problem.

Do you have a Slimline? I've never had a problem with mine, so I think the 'they overheat like hell' thing is just a misconception based on the size.

the space in which they tend to over heat is exaggerated, most people's would be fine so it doesn't matter too much...

I have mine on a shelf in my entertainment stand, It usually gets hot in a little over four hours of extended play, but I've got a good job going so although I'd be p'd about down time, I really could'nt care if it died...but I'd be really insanely mad about my game if it bit the dust too   but the reason they overheat, is due to the reason why it's smaller..THE IDIOTS SACRIFICED THE BIGGER FAN FOR SIZE!!  Smaller system, same insides, smaller fan that doesn't work as well :x

put it somewhere with abit more room, problem solved. they only suffer badly when placed in small enclosures
