Item Usage Problems
« on: February 19, 2007, 08:50:25 pm »
Hello, i'm playing Chrono Trigger using snes9x. I've been having problems using items in battle; when I open the items list, it appears to be totally empty. I know I have items; I am able to use them normally outside of battle. I'm referring to items like Tonic, Mid-Tonic, etc.
What I want to know is: can I somehow "give" the items to a character, so that I can use them in battle? Is this a glitch in the ROM I have? Or is it a problem with snes9x? I don't remember this happening when I played the game a few years ago.
Thanks

This is probably a glitch with either SNES9x or the ROM itself. Try using the ROM in ZSNES(save first so you have a save file ZSNES can access) and see if you still can't use items. If you can't, it's the ROM. If you can, it's SNES9x.

either you have a really old version of 9x, a bad rom or a shit computer. CT has run perfectly on any version of 9x i've used.
