I did, my east south and west regions are near perfect. But my Midwest failed miserably... stupid BC and WV... I still have all of my final four and went perfect today.

I am sure that I am still in the running for the cash in my dad's work pool. (Defending champion =D)

The BBC.

Setting aside the fantabulousness that is Doctor Who, the BBC apparently created a movie about Jesus ages ago (titled Son of Man). Only the BBC could portray him as a short, pudgy, angry, hostile man and do so in such a perfect way. There is a certain beauty about seeing Jesus battle a crowd passionately over the command to "love your enemy." Unfortunately, I've only seen clips of it so far, but as soon as I can find a full version...

I love being such a good writer. Of course, these things are relative, so at the same time I wish I were a better writer. But I definitely love what I've already got!

What I've found is that when you write stuff at first you're like OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!! Then, after you write the rest of it or let it sit for a year or two, you come back and it's all complete and utter garbage. Where was I going with this plot? This detail? This character? This whole story, for that matter! I remember writing a fiction book in, like, fifth grade about potatoes. But now I look at it and I question whether or not you really wrote that.

My suggestion for you, from a fellow author, is to have a whole bunch of people read it a whole lot, then look at it yourself when it's done and figure out how you really feel about it.

Curiously, I'm the opposite; when I write I have a hard time finishing because it's complete garbage. It is only after a while and I forget about it that I start to think it might be good enough to even show other people.

That's a sign of your development. The good news is that at this point in my life I have enough writing behind me that I can look back and find bits that have aged well, and so I can happily report that even a decidedly imperfect writer can have the occasional stroke of genius.

Interestingly: I have noticed that listening to music tends to reduce the quality of my writing. Nowadays, most of my serious writing is done in silence.
