Salmon has a taste to it that some people just don't like...

But... but... how can someone not like the taste of smoked salmon, salmon jerky, or scallops wrapped in salmon? The only fish that comes close to its awesomeness is the fur-bearing trout, and that's cool for totally different reasons.

Well there is this copperhead fish (another kind of salmon? Bad at fish names) that's a great substitute for salmon. It's a bit bigger and a bit more expensive than the salmon we usually buy.

So after three hours of shitty sleep and four classes in a row, I was about ready to kill somebody.  But one of my kids today was "Lucca," I never saw the name spelled on paper and it was a boy 

Still, I was unpacking my stuff at 8whatever this morning, cursing everything under the sky when I heard "Lucca, come sit down please."  I don't think this Lucca today will be as good with robots...

I think you're talking about Copper River salmon, Zephira. There are many different kinds of salmon, Copper River salmon are regarded as one of the choicest varieties; that's why they cost more.

Copperheads are a kind of snake. =P

By the way, since this has turned into the favorite fish thread, mine is halibut. Swordfish, salmon, and tuna are close behind it. On some days, however, nothing in the world beats a good old bagel and lox.

Just heard back from teh casting director from Spike (everybody's fave ) and they want me for the tv show!!!  Still waiting to hear back with all the details but I'm trying not get too too excited until I do.  If it all goes through I'll be on set on Wednesday!!!!
