« on: March 12, 2007, 03:47:02 pm »
This person at my one forum called one more chance to wish keeps starting a new topic and creating a new member(i can tell because it is the same ip) about credit repair and bad credit i have always answered with i cannot help you but maybe someone else can!, but i think if i answer him with something useful he/she will stop making new members and posting the same exact topic, so can anyone help?
here are the links to what the person said.
one topic made by the person.
second topic created by him/her

I hope that it is okay that i put the links instead of copying and pasting.

It's one of the many advertising bots on the internet. You need to set up one of those neat little random code generators for forum account registrations and disable guest posting so no bot can spam.

Take a look at the actual text. If there's not a whole lot of creative variety shown between various posts, then it's probably a SPAM bot -- a program/script that registers forum accounts and generates new posts with advertising content.
