Interesting Development

Word has circulated on the gamefaqs Chrono Trigger board of a dungeon in 1000 A.D. near Medina that was taken out in the final version of the game. I will now begin searching for it using the system detailed in this thread. If anyone wishes to help, go ahead. Apparently, the dungeon has something to do with the blue pyramid.

Alright, reading through most of that (not the biggest ROM h4X0r or whatever)...I noticed that someone said that 12,000BC only had Boss Battles outside of the Black Omen...But there were plenty of non-boss battles upon the Blackbird.

how many of these secret dungeons have you guys found so far with your hacking and searching of the beta rom? just curious, as i've seen posts on a few different ones.

If I may share a thought on the Singing Mountian...

As I think someone above already noted, the area's theme on the soundtrack sounds very Zealian in origin. I've seen a screenshot or two that suggests the Singing Mountain was a lava-based area.

I wonder. Could the Singing Mountain be the site where humanity first laid hands on dreamstone?

A volcanic area would be churning rocks out from deep underground...

Not much to support the idea, really. Just conjecture. I like it, though.  :)
