Actually, the Chrno minus the O came about not to avoid copyright issues but instead because the first time the logo was made the artist never bothered to check his English (this is very common in Japan). After he later realized his error it was kept for consistency's sake. The title was fixed when it was brought to the US because a missing O in the title would ruin all possible chances of most people even looking at as, if they didn't know why it was mispelled, would assume the spelling error was a proof of lack of quality rather than an anal attempt to maintain Engrish during localization. As everyone else has said, this is definitely a series worth watching.
