Chrono Cross Page ] Secondly, Gamehiker has brought it to our sheltered attention that Monolith Soft was recently bought out by Nintendo, which now owns 80% of the company. As you know, Nintendo and Square have been working together to release Final Fantasy spinoffs and ports / remakes. Don't get hasty, but cross your fingers; Monolith Soft still retains some members of the Chrono Cross team, and perhaps Square will shoot a Chrono idea Nintendo's way. With Masato Kato involved with both companies, we can't lose.
