Yasunori Mitsuda in Smash Bros Brawl

The official Super Smash Bros. Brawl site has just relaunched, and I was clicking through and noticed the music page.

The list of musicians composing for Brawl is nothing short of breathtaking. There is everyone from Yuzo Koshiro (Actraiser) to Motoi Sakuraba (Tales series) to Yoko Shimomura (Super Mario RPG) to Chrono Trigger's own Yasunori Mitsuda, among others.

Each musician is creating their own mix of their favorite songs. It'll be interesting to see which song(s) Mitsuda picked.

But you're right, this is awesome, imagine some revamped Chrono tunes in the game. Wonder if there's any chance we'll see a Chrono character ?

It could be, but before getting hopeful it's worth reminding that Nobuo Uematsu composed the intro music, but I doubt any Final Fantasy characters will make the roster.
