Crono v. Sephiroth

Sephiroth is a common target. I have a unique view of him consisting largely of my own assigned traits coupled with his amazing style and charisma, and I only first played FF7 in 2005. So I'm not with the original fanboys. Anyway, there was a recent topic in which someone wasn't kidding, and that's why.

Even so, I probably should not have kept on with my own antagonizing when I had no business doing so--regardless of my intentions--and for that I do apologize.

Hm. Honestly? If you consider Sephiroth the amazing, suped-up on Lifestream warhero of SOLDIER, not Sephiroth thestupid, ugly, kill-him-in-four-hits final boss, I think it would be a tie, or a very close match, in Crono's favor.

Now, if we were talking Crono vs. Goose on the other hand, our redheaded hero is definitely screwed.

As powerful as Sephiroth is (and damn badass in the AC fight), I'd say that Crono could whoop him. Think about it: Crono has some pretty awesome moves, like Cyclone (infusing the power of the wind into his blade and his movements), all his Lightning abilities (with which he could fry even the molecules in Sephiroth's body if he tried), and don't forget that one technique that he can send a shockwave of energy at a target that can 'rip through it like a massive power saw'. Oh yeah, I say that Crono could definitely have some decent advantage against Seph.

I dunno...Crono is powerful, but so is Sephiroth.  It would be a very close match, but I think Crono would come out on top.

seriously the first time i saw sephiroth(and didn't know that it was ff7 during the jenova pulled off the machine) I thought it was CT sequel or something. Sephiroth looked like Magus. jenova was like a mutated queen zeal. cloud was like crono and marle's son(spiky blond hair). so I really think Sephiroth and Cloud were unoriginaly desined. (sorry for the bad spelling)

Unoriginally designed, I believe. I'll agree to a certain extent that all of Nomura's designs are more or less uninspired. I won't agree with any of the reasons you state...Sephiroth looks like Magus? He WISHES! lol

Magus (the cool one) has smoothed back long blue hair.
