I thought Vera was talking about the unfinished Chrono Trigger and that Kid didn't have a pendant in RD, but this does raise some questions

Yeah, and Kato used a lot of lines depicted the scene after the Time Egg(Chrono Trigger was not metioned directly in original script, always Time Egg) shattered, directly after Kid/Schala's narration, which is quite confusing as if the Egg has something to do with the 'stone' metioned before.

Now, a few months ago, I was looking at credits from other Square Satellaview games, and there was some overlap in the credits. The "K. Yamashita" in the Demiforce credits is "山下 弘二" in the original Japanese. Probably "Koji Yamashita", not "Kyoko".

LOL, you are right.  Should be Kouji or Koji.
--ko is definitely a female name.

The third kanji does seem to be read as "kou" (or "hiro"), so "Kyoko" can't be right.

If I fix the Ko(u)ji/Kyoko mix up on the Radical Dreamers page, I should also adjust the other pages to remove her status as a “true Dream Team member”. Since the listing of "Kyoko Yamashita" in the Chrono Trigger page was actually only "K. Yamashita" in the original credits, that's also suspect.

Here some reasons why I doubt it:

• Online game credits list for PSX games put Kyoko under "Square Soft Inc." or "Square Electronic Arts L.L.C", both of which were American branches of Square Co. (However, I haven't been able to find her name in credits videos yet.) I don't think the original Japanese version would list someone handling publicity in North America.
• If the "Know Your Roots" section of this 1up article on XSeed is correct, then Kyoko Yamashita started working at Square during their PSX era. I think it's a stretch to place 1995 and 1996 under that category.

There are some other strange discrepancies in the Demiforce credits.
For example, the Art Director of Radical Dreamers is actually 蒲田　泰彦 (Yasuhiko Kamata), not 本根 康之 (Yasuyuki Honne).
Why is this? Were the resources back then for looking up the names too limited?

I still sometimes worry about how accurate the credit pages are. Last month, I used the Special Talk from the V-Jump's Player Guide to confirm that Tadashi Nomura worked on advertising for CT, not Tetsuya Nomura. The Japanese version of Chrono Cross apparently has some different listings compared to the English version.
The Demiforce translation of Radical Dreamers cut out the Graphics section of the credits. Here is that section along with my labels of who they are.
