In the Mother Brain article, the Home Area is listed as, and linked to Magus' Lair.

I've recently figured out the Mystical Knights essential elements are as follows:

Ozzie - Lightning
Flea - Fire
Slash - Water/Ice

maybe this could be added to their bios. They should definitely be listed as Innates in the four elements page - http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/The_Four_Elements.html

here's my rationale:

Ozzie casts lightning on Zenan Bridge, Slash cancels Water in the first battle, and Flea casts fire magic in Ozzie's Fort.

In the final 3 on 3 battle with them, they use Delta Force, which means that each one has one of the three elements. Slash clearly casts the Ice part of the spell. Ozzie and Flea casts seem to be reversed, but that probably has to do with the fixed animation of the spell and wanting Ozzie to fire off first.


also, about the 4 elements page - why is Dalton listed as Fire innate?

another issue: awhile back I mentioned that lode vests and helms are sold by the Nu at Kajar after you answer his question correctly, only after the Ocean Palace is available. This also applies to three weapons: alloyblade, big hand, and pearl edge.

right now, the prices are correct, but it says that they're sold in the Zeal Palace. I haven't found any vendors in the palace. same goes for http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Lode_Vest.html

on lode helm, it says: Kaja: After accessing the Ocean Palace, the Nu will sell it to you if you say you're not wearing Schala's pendant

which is fine, except it should be Kajar, and the cost is 6500g.

under Ogre (levels 20-29), it doesn't list his magic attacks. They're the same as Kilwala (fire1, ice1, lightning1, water1)

and under Omnicrone, there's this:

Omicrone (Levels 30-39)

Attacks: Fire, Fire 2, Ice, Ice 2, Lightning, Lightning 2
HP: 4800
Attacks: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water

clearly the second attack list shouldn't be included there. and typo: it should be Omnicrone, not Omicrone.

I noticed the types on the single techs page. Robo and Frogs heal spells are listed as Water, but Marles aura/cure/life spells are listed as a "Healing type", even though it naturally follows that they'd be Water. Also, Chrono's Life spell doesn't have a type listed.
still other issues - Chrono's Slash and Luccas Flame Toss are listed as Physical type. However, I tested this out on shadow monsters in lab 32 which cancel physical, and they were hit - so Slash is lightning and Flame Toss is fire. (confirmed this with dragon tank too). I've checked and Slash (the mystical knight)s Slash attack is lightning. Cyclone is definitely physical though, because it was canceled by the Shadows. I haven't checked Luccas Napalm or Mega Bomb, but they're probably Fire too - after all, Robos area bomb is considered Fire. also, Frogs Slurp heal spell is considered Physical, when it's probably Water.

to make it simple:

life - ????

marle
aura - listed as physical/healing, should be water
cure - listed as healing, should be water
cure 2 - see above
life 2 - see above

lucca
flame toss - listed as physical, should be fire
napalm - listed as physical, probably fire?

that's assuming curing spells ARE water. It definitely seems that way, but then there's Chrono's Life and Ayla's Kiss to confuse things. Hmm...

In any case, Chrono's Slash and Lucca's techs should be lightning and fire respectively.

A couple of interesting things I've found -

when its time to learn magic from Spekkio, you are locked into the End of Time (gates don't work) until you learn magic.

also, I had totally forgotten about this, but you know the fire/water/wind sprites that come out of the books of Zeal? they appear by your characters when they learn magic. (Chrono gets wind)

the character pages list the tech points needed to learn new moves. however, I can't find any info about experience points and leveling up in the encyclopedia, at least for Trigger.

Wow, nice finds xcalibur. Since these are easy and shouldn't require much discussion I went ahead and took care of most of them. I left the "plain of time" for now. Since it was compared to a "sea of energies," I wonder if the author/ZeaLitY was making a purposeful comparison of landform to...liquid form, I guess.

StrategyWiki was used as a source, and I read this interesting point on there:

One interesting note about Magus is that his versions of Lightning 2, Fire 2, and Ice 2 are about 30% more powerful than those cast by Crono, Lucca, or Marle, which makes him effectively the best Water magic user in the game among other things.

I did a brief test and confirmed that this is true (although I'm not sure of the exact increase). I controlled for the magic stat too.

Fixed fixed fixed. I actually didn't realize Slash was a magic attack until you said so and I tried it out on Spekkio to be sure.
