1. Forever yours, is really something else then yours truly... Really, how many times has a woman said "Forever yours" in a letter to you or someone you know?
2. Why should he have cared for the other world where he died? He lived in his world, had a happy life, he didn't need anything else. Why would he go back without any motives?
3. This speech from Kid comes directly after Schala's. Schala says: "And yet, even then..." and then Kid comes in, saying "...It was blood good knowing ya, mate! blablabla". I get the feeling from this Schala and Kid merged, but on the other hand, they could just be talking simulatenously with each other. And yeah, it's not a tiddy biddy weird that she'd go through the trouble of finding him if he was just a normal friend... She could have left him alone for the rest of his life, yet she insists deeply that she will find him. She must have special feelings for him, otherwise she wouldn't do that. I wouldn't spend my life to find just a normal friend, unless I were in love with her and knew we were made for each other.
4. Yeah... Speculation... That's what most of these forums are build on nowadays.
5. I don't remember Schala and Lucca having any contact. As far as Schala's concerned, she was sent to the DBT right after the Ocean Palace disaster, without ever returning before Serge saved her. The last time she saw Janus was probably in Zeal Palace, because in Crono's altered timeline Janus doesn't enter the Ocean Palace. Or maybe he does, I forgot. Either way, it's not weird to think she assumes him dead. I don't even remember what happened to Janus after the Ocean Palace disaster. In the original timeline he was sent to 600 A.D., but what about the altered timeline?
6. Alright, go through a burning orphanage full of monsters, then. You can't say he didn't here, because he did. You could leave Kid to rot away and die, but that's not canon. It's the same thing with killing Magus in CT.
