Kuja Vs. Sephiroth [HUGE FF7 and FF9 spoilers]

I think when you're talking about a Versus thread, you should already know everything that said characters did in their respective games...Elsewise what are you going to post? Some baseless nonsense about how you love Ol' Sephy-Head?

Personally, I don't think either of them is that great, but Sephiroth certainly got more development...The sad fact is that they're both cursed with dolts for protagonists.

Bottom line: Kefka wins.

I tried to make a poll but I couldn't figure it out. anyway I think Kuja kicks Seph's ass! of course Kefka could kill them both, but Ex-Death is pure death. oh well but this topic is about seph and kuja.

I think that it would be a close fight but sephiroth would win. Why? He's a veteran.  He's appeared in other games, and a movie. lol. But I have a question. Why do people hate cloud or Zidane? I know that some people don't care for the characters and think that they could have been better. But why when they fit the mood and plot of the story. For example: If you took Zidane and plugged him into Final Fantasy VII, how would the game fair? Or if you took Squall and switched him with Tidus from FFX, the game would be very weird. What I am saying is that we shouldn't expect a game's protagonist to always have a personality that makes sense to us. These characters personalities fit the game, the story and the other characters in the story. So I'm glad to have played with a character as Zidane knowing that I will get a comletely different personality with the next FF and so on. Not every character can be like Chrono or Shadow or other characters that we adore in other games. Sorry, just had to vent.

Zidane was just a lame wannabe Locke and you never really know anything about him until the last 15 minutes of the game. Pretty much every other character was great in FFIX...and two daggers, cool...the thief blade...lame.

Cloud was a clod, plain & simple. Sure, he had memory retardation, but that's no excuse for being that clueless. When I am ten steps ahead of the protagonist (and he's not silent, of course), that's when I call foul. Buster sword...equally lame (though neither weapon is as lame as Squall's gunblades).

I didn't recall Kuja controlled Alexander.   Anyway, Sephiroth hasn't yet show his true power even in the FF7: AC.  I can't even begin imagine if Sephiroth unleashes his true power.   In a word, SEPHIROTH CAN EASILY PWNED KUJA!!!!!

but Kuja doesnt either. He just decides to destroy the world. he could have casted ultima from the beginning but he never did. he got killed so in his last few seconds he killed the crew.

Seph just gave up.

and he did control Alexander but then garland destroyed it.

Anyway, Garland destroyed Alexander before any holy attacks started to destroy Alexandria, thats the point. Kuja vs Sephiroth, ummm I guess Sephiroth would by the winner, only if Sephs would ever quit  joking around.

kuja's full power was not just ultima he was stronger than that. so neither of them stopped joking around. not to mention seph only had physical strength while kuja only had magical strength.

...more than just that. He manipulated Holy so it would have the reverse effect, thus causing the Planet to send even more Lifestream that Sephiroth could gather. (Thus Aeris's death was to fullfill Sephiroth's immortal will!)
