It's always good to take time to think and reflect, but don't neglect to eat regularly and get out and do something physical while you're at it. Feeling physically and then mentally disconnected from the world around you is an easy way to fall into despair and lose all clarity of thought, especially when you're alone.

One of these days, I'd like to go out to the mountains myself and find somewhere peaceful to quietly train and reflect.

Follow Ramsus's advice, and don't let yourself slip into depression.
I had a battle with it a year and a half ago, and I hope you don't have to go through that. It screwed up a lot of things I had going for myself, and I can't honestly tell ya why I went through it.

Usually Compendium members don't announce they're leaving when it's just for a few days. They just leave for a few weeks, and when the come back, it usually turns out nobody noticed they were gone...
