Topic: Unknown CT MIDI rips

Can anyone identify these arrangements or their origin for placement on the CT music page? They sound like simple MIDI rips, but they're notable because they been circulating since the turn of the millennium, mostly on P2P sites where they get confused for the REAL PSX Chrono Trigger orchestral pieces. In addition to those, there's also one of track 59, Determination.

If it helps, the ID3 tag for one of them had something like "mp3downloads.com/artist/moa/".

After a long month of grueling work by ZeaLitY and others, a patch for KWhazit’s Chrono Compendium [url=http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Retranslation.html]Chrono Trigger Retranslation[/url] is out. In addition to inserting the entire script, the hack uses a fix to mimic Ayla’s nickname for Crono, adds in Sky / Dark elemental icons to replace Lightning / Shadow, and restores the Japanese ending art for the Marle searching for Crono with the Epoch ending. The only external changes are a pre-title screen and changes in the ASCII credits; there are no easter eggs. The linked page also connects to a “making-of / how-to” feature and a pack of three patches allowing users to implement the changes described above on personal projects. So, surprise! And have fun.

I'm not familiar with any of these sites, but I'll give it a try. Attached is a screenshot of the ThaSauce submission and VGMix post ready to go. All the links have been tested, I've previewed both submissions. The only forseeable problem is that I don't have permission to post new topics on OCR.

Which forum should I post it in on VGMix? I'm guessing Music: Finished or General Discussion (there's also Catland, Shizz Skelter, Music: Talk and Music: Works In Progress).

EDIT: I've submitted it to ThaSauce. It needs to be checked apparently.
