Colored Books in Radical Dreamers

Hey, all. Can anyone confirm whether the various colored book key items in Radical Dreamers actually contained excerpts from Dune, Silence of the Lambs, etc., in the Japanese version, or are these something DemiForce put in there as easter eggs?

I'm especially interested in this excerpt from the Purple Book - Front:

"The Neo-Epoch was damaged and expelled into space without any phase changes.
Warning! Warning! Engine severely damaged! Output has been reduced to 30%! Only
six Antiparticle shells remain!
Shield range 16 sectors! L-spin reaction at the starboard bow! The enemy fleet
is moving towards us!
Gyado, wake up! Hiyu Corps, use your final power..."

Certainly sounds interesting - like Belthasar took on the Borg or space aliens or something in the Neo Epoch in another dimension. Any ideas as to what, exactly, "Gyado" and "Hiyu Corps" refer to?

I'm pretty sure in the ReadMe file that he says that those were some of the things that were changed to fit English works or whatever. In the original they were references to Japanese stuffs.

Whoah, thanks for that Vehek! So the Neo Epoch v. aliens thing really was recorded in Radical Dreamers. If the Google translation ended, "Take off every ZIG! For great justice!" I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between this and Zero Wing.

Why the hell would Belthasar be in outer space fighting aliens? Of course, there's nothing confirming it's actually him, or that aliens and not humans are being fought. And how would an episode from a future time and an alternate dimension be recorded in a book sitting in Viper Manor...?

Could this be a glimpse into the interstellar war that resulted in Lavos' creation? But wait, now I'm getting my Chrono and my Xeno mixed up.  I could throw in some Star Trek: First Contact as well -- the aliens, losing the war, send Lavos back in time to wipe out the race that defeated them. But wait...now I'm getting my Star Trek and my Terminator mixed up.

Is Silver Bird what the Epoch is called or something...?

Well, anyways, the only thing Chrono-related that I...uh, relate it to would be the battle between Chronopolis & Dinopolis...They were the only ones I recall having anything close to a 'fleet'...but w/e...it all seems too vague...maybe it's just a reference to some whakky JP sci-fi...

The Epoch is called "Sylbird" in the Japanese version Kwhazit considers it to be "silver" and "bird" run together. Google's current translation system expands it to "Silver Bird"

Here are what I think are the actual book texts, taken from the Japanese script dump. I've only really bothered to compare the first one to the ingame text to check for accuracy in the dump.
