Magus wouldn't fight dirty against a real enemy, because this cuts the fun. He maybe burned Cyrus because Cyrus would prolly never stand a chance vs him? He didn't burn crono and co thou...(donno why, but maybe some of you do)

Isn't he supposed to be a twisted-psychotic Hajime Saito esque character, with skewed values yet values all the same? In that case, I would see such tricks as to make a boring fight for Magus, lest he be that boring and stereotypical of a character.

Hey, I'm pretty sure that a fight for his life would be a fight for his life not a fight for his values...Marle's gettin' a scythe to the forehead if Crono so much as unsheathes his sword.

Bah. Crono would win. Both are matched physically, so it would come down to wills: who could psyche out the other. And Magus has a lot more issues for Crono to play with.

Crono is faster, first hit, first kill.

I'd have to give it to Magus if both were fighting all out for real with no one else helping on either side.

I don't know...The way I see it is that Crono would have unclouded, pure judgement and would use that to his advantage, while I see Magus in the game as conflicted, and that might hinder him in combat.

Crono's "unclouded, pure judgement" is up to debate though really...And conflicted? Magus' goals were straight as laser beams...or something...*shrugs*

Crono's only problem was to be home for dinner, so he said to himself there is nothing funny here, let's rescue the world  :P
