What can you do Nippon is still a *very* chauvinistic society. Personally I liked Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy for *very* different because they are.. *surprise*... *very* different reasons; they will never replace each other. Anyway....Chrono Cross is very critically acclaimed as well. 9.7 on IGN, 10 on Gamespot (one of only 4 games), Famitsu gave it 36, and EGM gave it 10/10/9.5.
