I voted for Schala, mostly because we could have an all-magic user as well as Ayla, who is all-physical =P

Uh, Magus is all-magic...And some of Ayla's Techs inflict magic-like damage...well, Twister anyways...although Kiss & Charm also count as being magical, I believe...*shrugs*

I'm pretty sure Robo is a guy.  Especially if you compare him to Atropos.  I voted for other.  Glenn or Schala would be nice, but I think it would be really cool to get Cyrus.

I think Schala coz she would be awesome, sort of like a female character as powerful as magus. Although I would like to see Toma as playable as well he'd be pretty awesome too.

Gaspar.  He practically begs to join your party anyway.  I know it's a translation mix-up but you could run with it.  He's the coolest NPC in the game anyway. 

Sure, he only has like 3 animations, one of them sleeping, but he doesn't need any more.  Every RPG needs a useless, narcoleptic old man.  His unique line of dialogue when he's in the driver's seat of the Epoch could be "...Zzz...zzzz...zzzz..." followed by the two passengers doing their "surprise" expression right before they blast off.

Here's some tech ideas for him

LifeAlert - Contacts 911 when he has fallen in battle
GetOffMyLawn - Verbally scolds the enemy and shakes his cane at them
Matlock - Summons Andy Griffith to convict the enemy in a court of law, ending the battle
Kamehameha - Ultimate damage on all targets

Triple Tech (Gaspar/Crono/Marle)

WarStory - Gaspar sits the two youths down and proceeds to spin them a yarn about his days as a fighter pilot

I voted for Schala, because she simply kicks ass -- IF some kickass sprites are made.

Oswego del Fuego had already made a Schala spriteset for Crimson Echoes back in 2005. It was about 75% complete.

Yeah, I remember seeing those in the "Playable Character Mod Schala" thread. I'm not entirely sure whether RoxSilverFox and MagilsugaM are using those as a base or if they're doing theirs from scratch.

We're doing ours from scratch pretty much, we used Lucca's sprites and modified them. It's still a work in progress MagilsugaM is busy attacking heads and I'm left doing nothing    well for now at least.

But alas I think the people will want classic "over dressed" Schala as playable.

I for one didn't mind her sleeker, sexier look, actually...

I mean, as the showcase Princess of Zeal and daughter of the megalomaniac Queen Zeal, she was probably forced to act, look, dress within strict perimeters.  Perhaps after leaving Zeal (whatever happened to her) she was finally able to let her hair down and be her own person.

Yeah I kinda thought that too, but other people think otherwise but I don't give a damn people can think what they want.

I figure if they want something completely different why don't they do their own sprites on another hand I'm happy to take tips and opinions
