I say Toma. Mainly because If it was Schala that would mess with the story and the only character in the game that seems different or may have a different style of weapon or perhaps a new element of some kind like earth or plant.

I voted for Glenn but meh I'd rather see something more shocking:

Dalton (Golem Boss portal spits him out somewhere near the Commons)
Queen Zeal (not sure how that would work but I liked her spells though Hallation is overpowered)
Ozzie (joins after being defeated at his fort instead of just falling into a pit)
Johnny (lots of techs involving running people over so not really that great)
Azala (chooses to fly back with Crono and Co.)
Sir Krawlie (joins after you defeat him.  im joking of course ^^)

I chose schala, schala is a great sorceress it would be good to have a great magician on chrono's team.

I voted for Schala. If Johnny was on there, I would have voted for him. I know there's an other option but...

That's not to say any of the other characters listed in this thread or elsewhere wouldn't be cool, these guys are just so awesome in my opinion.

Real quickly, let me explain my choice of Johnny. I think he would be cool because we have at least one person from each timeline except 2300.
65,000,000 BC - Ayla
12,000 BC - Magus
600 AD - Frog
1,000 AD - Crono, Lucca, Marle
1,999 AD - Robo
2,300 AD - None.

Robo, 1999? Well, he has not been online since the apocalypse, so everything in 2300 is new to him. Saying that he belongs to 2300 is like saying Magus belongs to 600 AD or a guru belongs to his area. Sure, they may have spent time in that era, but time skipped for them, whether literally or mentally. The only guys who don't fight you from 2300 are Johnny, his robot pals, the dystopic humans, Balthazar and his robotic Nu. Everything else either wants you terminated or wants to eat your brains.

We don't know exactly how long Robo wasn't operational.  It's possible it wasn't Lavos that shut him down.  And Magus had been in 600AD long enough so that he pretty much did.  I mean, he had been there for like all of his adult life.

Maybe Robo was active at some point between 1999 AD and 2300 AD, but it's safe to say that he was BUILT before 1999 AD.

Still, Magus wasn't raised in 600AD. But I suppose I can see where you're coming from. I still don't think he belongs there either way.

Robo states that there used to be humans around him the last time he was activated. If he was active after the day of Lavos, that probably means something attacked the dome, killing the humans and shutting off Robo. His behavior didn't seem to indicate this, though.

That's likely but it's possible it was the other people in 2300.  But unlikely.
