Characters from 3D games that could pass as Chronoverse characters?

I'm pretty sure Actraiser is on the VC, but that's an Enix and not a Square game (great series, too). Come to think of it, I don't know of any Square games that are on the Virtual Console, but then again I don't have a Wii.

Besides the Chrono Trigger remake attempts, I think there was an Aliens fangame attempt that got smashed a long time ago. Interestingly, that attempt, like CT:Resurrection, was going to use fan-made and not original resources if I remember correctly. Confuses the heck outta me -- you'd think the game companies would be more angry when people use ripped resources as opposed to self-generated resources. Maybe it's because the fan-made resources sometimes turn out better?

Actraiser. If I had to guess, I'd guess that they're going to keep pumping the portable space with remakes of the big franchises until that well starts to dry up, and then we'll start seeing the heavy hitters land on the VC. Even if that is their strategy, I'd be more than happy to see some of their non-rpg games go up, like Soul Blazer for example.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking...why release games on the VC that you're eventually going to make remakes of? Not business savvy! That's right! Chrono Trigger's not being on the VC gives it hope that it'll eventually get a remake! HOORAY!!!!!

Grandia is a good series two, but it's not one that S-E made, so it's not their call. Also, it wasn't for a system that the Virtual Console emulates.

A good trilogy.(I'd have to say Terranigma would be the win, though.) But for the cameos and slight references, one wouldn't know they were part of the same series...

As for passing for Cronoverse characters *any* of Toriyama's other work. (Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, Tobal, etc. could easily pass--at least for CT anyways.)
