wtf? Who was talking about Frog Glenn? Whoever thought we were discussing whether Frog Glenn's hair color was anything other than the green it obviously is, is stupid, doesn't play well with others, and doesn't pay attention. So, yeah, you (whoever you may be) may have ADD or something. Better get to the doctor...check yourself before you wrickity-wreck yourself.

Perfection.

So does anyone else have any to add on the theories between the characters of Frog and Glenn?  If not, let this thread die.  Enough hair color banter.

ALright, this isn't really about CC Glenn, but do you think Frog Glenn had anything to do with the forming of the Acacia Dragoons?

The Dragoons and the Viper clan comes from Porre, and Frog Glenn professes outmost loyalty to Guardia, so it seems unlikely.. Maybe Frog emigrated to El Nido after all the troubles were over and enjoyed a peaceful life in the tropics??

I'm going to say most likely not.

In the Chrono Cross timeline, my understanding is that the outside world (Guardia, Porre, Choras, Medina, etc.) didn't discover El Nido until around 900 AD.  This is because El Nido is surrounded by wall-like and inpenetrable mountain/coral barrier of sorts, the only entrance/exit to El Nido a small slipstream of intense ocean currents.

Seeing that Porre discovered El Nido circa 900 AD and obtained Elements and their powers...

Anywho, I was getting off on a tangent.  So unless Frog was 325 (estimate) years old and founded the Acacia Dragoons, most likely not.

But then again, you never know for sure until we get another Chrono game.

Yeah.. wrong, wrong, me..
so it is highly unlikely that Frog Glenn was involved with the Acacia Dragoons, or was able to go to El Nido..

Hey, it could be a thought, right? What if the Acacian Forces were actually somewhat of a special force for Gaurdia. After the fall of Gaurdia  they could've found this new land and claimed it as their own.

The Acacias were formed as the security forces of the Viper Clan i believe..
i think it is improbable that they were the special forces of Guardia, and besides, that Kingdom already has an elite force of its own: The Knights of the Square table

Ha. *snicker* square table.. Really haven't heard anything like that before!

But I guess your right. Do you think That the Viper Clan would have anything to do with Gaurdia or Frog though?

Glenn Viper.

I mean, it doesn't really have a ring to it, but whatever.

Well General Viper is the ruling governor of El Nido.  Glenn, although associated with the Acacia Dragoons, probably didn't have the surname 'Viper'.  We definitely know that he was the son of Garai and brother of Dario, both of whom were powerful Acacia Dragoon Diva's.

But yeah, perhaps the Viper Clan has some sort of ties to Guardia.  The political structure of El Nido is pretty vague in Chrono Cross, so no telling.  After all, Radius (also a former Dragoon Diva) seemed to have a lot of respect for Guardia.  In fact, he preferred Guardia well over Porre...

hey, there is a Knights of the Square table, check the Compendium encyclopedia..
And i thought that the Viper clan was Porrean in origin, and Viper's respect for Guardia (where was that one stated?),
would probably be a result of Porre's invasion of El Nido, like, the US revoking Puerto Rico's commonwealth status and assuming de facto control of the island, for example..

Oh, my bad, I knew about the Square table. I was just cracking on it's pun. Sorry.

But seriously. Damn you Kato, for leaving so many plot holes... my imagination hurts.
