College is definitely what you make of it -- just be sure to get an internship or connections under your belt so that something's waiting for you on "the other side."

I've already have a job lined up for while I'm in college(probably after my second or third year) and afterwards engineering(software and possibly electronic) large-scale power inverter/battery-backup systems for alternative energy sources.

Sounds quite exciting!  No.  Seriously.

It's totally awesome to know that the alternative energy industry is creating high-tech jobs. Sounds like you're all set. Leave it up to the Bloody Reaver of Justice to make us something other than petroleum we can use for fuel.  :P

Speaking of Something Other Than Petroleum; personally, I am rather excited about algae. Not so much for replacing oil at the gas pump (unless the environmental impact would be less than generating the power for electrical cars), but Airplanes, Rockets, and plastics still need oil as well.

Hmmm. Grats on the graduation. I just got my G.E.D., looking into some college classes now, but it's REALLY hard to find one that fits my schedule.  :(

But, I'll figure it out sometime, then it's back to the books.

From now on, we will travel in tubes!

Get the scientists working on the tube technology, immediately.
Chop, chop, let's go.

ZOMG, I love tubes! In my vision of the perfect world, all commuter travel would take place in subterranean tube trains.

Hence, why I'm not in charge of the US transportation system...
