PS:I can't get        Retranslation of Chrono Trigger to work .It works to probably play but when the intro of does flames comes up it freezez

Are you patching it to the Japanese version of the ROM? If so don't...If not, then it might be a headered/unheadered problem (I forget which the retranslation works on)...so just unheader the ROM and it should be fine to patch...
