As you'll notice...there are no members of Crono & Co. in that lineup! Also: the Silver Surfer is just crying...he doesn't know the meaning of the word fail...!

I'd love to see how that hack translates the story, though.... If anyone ever takes on the argentous task of translating it, I would play it. Just at 4x the speed, due to those horrifyingly long battles.

Hey guys!

Hypothetically speaking, if I had found at this very evening the NES CT's actual ROM, would there be any legal problems about posting a download link in this thread?

I'll probably only be able to return and see any answers by tomorrow morning, so I'll just wait. Not that I really have any download link, but, if I had, would anybody want me to post it here and help me to figure out how to pass through Leene Square? I mean, if I had one...

Edit: Alright, alright, I DO have it! Now, could someone please answer wheter I could post it without getting jailed or not? x_x

The simple answer(s) would be yes, it is illegal(as it's left the realm of fanart) and yes I would like the link. *grunt*PM ME WITH THE LINK PLEASE*cough uncontrollably*

Edit: BTW there's no way in hell(well... there is, but it's about as likely as me transforming into a ham sandwich w/ Grey Poupon) the government would jail you for posting one simple link... although I'm bound by the ToS to not advise you to do such a thing...

Alright, I've just edited the first post of this topic with the link.

I've been playing it on Nestopia. If anyone has a better suggestion for a NES emulator, I'd appreciate.

And, btw, does anyone here know mandarin. I've been going to classes since about 5 months ago, but I could only recognize 5 or 6 words so far. (the main reason why I can't get past Leene Square XP)

Oh yes, that makes me remember the good old days, when i'd spend hours on a dictionary to understand one line in english... ah, nostalgia...

Well well, here's a tip. There's a girl in Leene Square who will automatically talk to you (maybe marle, maybe not). In this dialog, when two options appear, the one to the left most probably means "yes".

Nester, maybe? I didn't really know anyone used any of the other NES emus, really...>_>

But, seriously, why doesn't the Compendium (or anyone English) beat 'em to the punch (or just also do it, only better) & make an 8-Bit Chrono Trigger...?

Maybe because the idea of making something apparently more obsolete and old than what has already been done with such quality might seem way too... dunno... weird? bizarre? useless?
