Which Presidential Candidate would you want to game with?
« on: June 13, 2008, 07:18:31 pm »
Which presidential candidate, Hillary, Obama, McCain, and Huckabee, would you want to game with? What game? Would you be playing against them, or with them?

I'd kick McCain's ass in Brawl, teach him a lesson.

Final Fantasy VII with Hillary Clinton (hey, I could've sworn there was a two-player hack out there somewhere). Hillary would say, "Wow, Tifa didn't break the glass ceiling, but she put 9999 cracks in it!"

Uh, Huckabee & Clinton aren't Presidential Candidates anymore...>_>

And none. They're all too old & lame to play anything good...much less be good at anything. Maybe Obama would be better at Wii Bowling than regular bowling though...>_<

Even though I respect her views and wish she was still running due to her views on Healthcare and education, i'd want to play gears of war with Hillary Clinton xD just for fun...

Running beyond the end of the primaries would ensure the fracturing of the Democratic party and the crippling of any general election campaign.

...so she should do it.

I'm just hoping that she get's the VP slot. She's already supporting Obama... An Obama/Clinton Ticket would be the bomb.

Last I heard, Obama might be playing Starfox with a retired general by the time of the Democratic convention. I envision fistbumps with Wesley Clark -- Clark did do a fistbump on one of his campaign commercials in 2004. Ol' mister Kosovo might be too connected with the Clintons to be considered though. That, and he apparently ordered allied troops to intercept Russian forces during the Kosovo campaign because the Russians were maneuvering oddly. Luckily, his British subordinate flatly refused, and an international boo-boo was averted. As much as I like Clark, that episode might be a liability.

Why he already has the votes from her supporters. What he needs are southern white votes.

I'm worried about precisely that issue. I sure hope you're right, ZealKnight.

Gallup and other pollsters have demonstrated that the Democratic base has shored up, with women moving to Obama to propel him to a lead in several states. As affirmed through Lord J, the women who were going for Hillary but now trumpet McCain are mostly right-of-center nontraditional "Democrats". There are also tons of GOP trolls on websites pretending to be angry Hillary supporters, and this creates the illusion of mass dissension.

The clinching aside is found in www.hillaryis44.org . Even those self-deluded nutters won't vote for McCain, but instead are planning to write in Hillary. And though they have 300 comments per news story which creates the illusion of popularity, someone at Kos analyzed the sources, and the comments come from the same, small group of people.

I'm still carrying around the popular vote numbers with caucuses factored in as a bit of extra insurance. ZeaLitY's post reminds me that I still need to check out the Kos' diary section and do an entry there.
