Actually...You are right.  I got a weapon modification code and apparently it IS the characters who hold it...strange.  I gave Serge an Ivory Dagger as a weapon and it was still black.  This is strange

Do a test for me, someone. I need you to equip a non glove user with a glove and likewise a glove user with something like a sword...

As I understand it, gloves and picks don't have weapon graphics, so what happens if you equip a sword to a glove user?

OK, so, that means its impossible to give glove users a different weapon without adding a new bone for one, and the glove packs should theoretically not have any model or texture data in them.

This may mean we can crak the weapon data faster!

the same byte 0x00 in Serge's and Kid's files is 10, denoting LESS sections to the file. So, if there are 22 sections to the Glove file, but only 16 to the Swallow... AND the Swallow has model and texture data... why does the Glove have so many more sections but less data...?

Would it have something to do with needing to know where the weapon is for the effects you see on enemies when you hit them? The gloves may have no model or texture data, but maybe there is more information on where the glove impacts because each character has a different size fist, arm length, arm height, some use their feet, etc. There is actually more movement for them than the characters that all swing the sword in the same general way.

It might also be that the glove weapon is actually put over the hands and feet, but just left transparent. Therefore it would need more sections for the outline, but less data because there is no texture (but then it would contradict with what I said above, because there would be model data).

Of course, I know nothing about what you are talking about with the weapons in general, but maybe it will spark an idea for someone else.
