Not surprising, the only 'marketing' I saw were a few ads in GAME and in some magazines... It was released absolutely quietly in the UK.

I've already posted this earlier in another thread, but there are currently only 8 people in my school/6th form who actually know what Chrono Trigger is, and 5 of them only know because I told them. It physically sickens me, really.

We called it the Nutcracker.
The kid was a lot taller than any of us (being the nerdy kids who liked JRPGs and him being two grades above) so I got down on one knee while my friend used my back as a ramp and leapt at the guy's head, which was a distraction for me running up and punching him in the nads.

We had to practice for like a week and we became feared, mostly because we boasted about having a bunch more.

Later this inspired us to mentally retcon all of Nikki's techs into rockstar slide w/ ball punching.

That problem kind of stopped when I got to high school and asswipes started trying to befriend me.

Also, you know you've played too much CT when you picture yourself opening the item menu every time you look in your pockets.

Yeah, I don't get that much anymore, cos I'm way older than the asswipes. But, it would still be fun to learn one anyway, for shits and giggles, if nothing else.

When you play it in front of your friends just to promote it so that you have more people to discuss it with.

When you start to run out of ideas/stories for this thread and start to eventually make up absurd ones

When you go to a castle with a hermaphrodite, a swordsman and a fat green man to plot world domination.

Well that's a relief.  every other site ive ever admitted that on has never let me hear the end of it.  some CT fans actually stopped talking to me.
