Just posting to say that I'm glad to see Mario Adventure made the list of top hacks, I liked how he even put in weather effects, among other things. Unfortunately, the author of that hack (along with a few other hacks, and participator in the creation of SMILE [Super Metroid Integrated Level Editor]) doesn't seem to make them anymore, due to....various reasons ;x
Also Dragoon X Omega is quite fun, though I never did finish it because Vista64 refuses to run any of my NES emulators.
