That hack looks like an almost complete overhaul, very cool.

However!

I'm still in awe of this.
Here's the link to the hack.
Requires Japanese Rockman 2 rom.
What's more... someone actually beat it.

Then prepare to be unimpressed by THIS

In fact, if you cruise through this same guy's videos you'll find some awesome Rockman 2 hacks. I especially recommend Rockman: Deus Ex Machina. It's a challenge and all the weapons got overhauled. Item 2? Makes you float now.

You know what would be a cool Mega Man hack? If they incorporated an old Street Fighter glitch where you could jump, throw a hadoken then jump again mid-air and continue the process until you come up from the bottom of the screen...Of course, it'd have to be incorporated into the MMX series! Imagine creating dungeons where you'd have to use such a trick! >_>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDfFRoz8Qhg Speaking of Street Fighter glitches...

There aren't any Megaman X hacks out there, I noticed. That said, it's my dream to make a MMX fan game someday. The premise? Going through levels from different game series. A little cliche, but I'd love to have a few Chrono elements involved....

Anyways, why not a glorious Sonic hack? Someone redid Sonic 1 with new levels, graphics, and even added Shadow and Mighty as characters. It's pretty solid. Link to the hack is in the video.

I don't really get the FFVI hack, but the rest are great!!

But a real quick question- could someone PM me with a good NES emulator?

 BTW Thanks Jutty.

Apparently Mother is a hard, HARD game. I've played the other two, and my favorite is Mother 3, the fan translation is superb.

It didn't seem that hard when I played it...Most oldschool RPGs require additional leveling (I think it was to compensate for the fact that the games were shorter)...Just look at the first Dragon Quest or Phantasy Star...

Hard? It wasn't to me. Although I can't really say much since I only got as far as the third melody.

One thing that's bothered me for years anytime I've seen anything with the words "rom hack".

How come their hasn't been much if anything done about N64 rom hacks.   I would love enhanced versions of gameplay.   Is it due to the 3d acceleration?   Games like Cruis n Usa don't take that much.

But for now  that's my theroy on why no one has attempted.

I'm betting it's something similar to why developers didn't do much with the N64 *nyuck nyuck*

Oh, and Namco x Capcom should probably be included to, since that's out...Wish I could play it though...I doubt my crappy lappy could handle a PS2 emu...V_V

Oh did somethign happen?  Can you provide me a link to explain as I don't mind looking things up myself I just want a pointer. :D.................................................................Wait are you refering the fact that 3rd party was gone because their was great companies such as Midway,Rareware, etc that made very fantastic games so I dont' see why nobody tries to add to Banjo Kazooie or Super Mario 64 like our little community here in lands end.

Guessed you missed out on that great era huh.    The gamecube virtually sucked at development relationship just ask people at Zelda Universe and you can get a list that's endless.          Looks like I've gone......    :picardno

Earthbound on snes was not easy at all especially to start.

The mother games are all amazing I tried to get through the original and made did I completely fail. I recently got a hold of the mother 3 fan translation I just have yet to have the time to start it up and give it a try.
