Hurray!  The Wolflobe Sword no longer has to live on in our hearts!  Satoh, you take so many Chrono heartstrings and bring them into existence.  WOOT WOOT!

Alright all, I enjoyed making the Wolflobe, so I made a few more (Note these are not according to the concept art, but rather what I always imagined them looking like.

I was able to guess the first two, they both look good. The rainbow, I imagined to be a bit more vibrant and ornate.

The rainbow was when I started, but it was so bright that it looked like an 8 year old's drawing... I always pictured the rainbow shell items as being less actually "Rainbowy" and more like a multicolored irridescent type thing... like an abalone shell is. Or I guess kind of like motor oil mixed with water, if you know what that looks like...

The red katana in my mind was always more of a red-orange color, and not really colored, but it relfected that color.

The Masamune is fairly similar to the artwork though... are there any swords you all would be interested in seeing my take on?

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't make a projectile weapon to save my life...

So I mostly do bladed things... (Plus I ike the shiny effect I just learned how to create =P )

By the way, Satoh, the way I've always imagined the Rainbow shell and Rainbow blade as a sort of oil in water type of prismatic look, too.  So I like the way the blade looks.

I have a few designs for the masamune but I don't quite have the material skills to make them yet... (I still can't get the cyrstal to look.... crystally...)

The Rainbow isn't supposed to represent homosexuality (not saying that it's a bad thing): it isn't a rainbow.  It's more a prismatic alloy of awesomeness.  And as for the Masamune...  I once drew an image of how I thought the Masamune would look in it's TRUE form (if it had a true form).

It was a combination of the traditional Masamune and the crimson Masamune (it had various extensions in the hilt to make it look uber awesome), and it too, had a jewel at the base of the blade (merging into the hilt).  Mine was round however.

To sum it up:
Boo and Satoh have used their imagination to agree on two things from Chrono Trigger.

I can't help but think they'd be cooler if it WERE based on the concept art...Seeing how awesome they are...*shrugs* But these are nice too.

Since it's wolfLOBE, I'd figure it'd be coming out of it's ear instead of it's mouth, though...>_<

Was the Wolflobe sword actually spelled with a "beta" in-game? That way it would be sort of a double "S" sound if taken in the German pronunciation. Making it...Wolflosse? If I can figure out how to make a "beta" I'll Google the term and see what happens.

EDIT: Thanks for the comic, Boo. The Compendium should archive that one or something.

EDIT: wolfloβe gets me no returns. Even "loβe" doesn't produce anything.

EDIT: Oh, I get it now. It's some sort of gibberish that results from the game combining different weapon names. Neato.
