Crono...in color!

During last semester, I woke up one day to a campus covered in snow. To my excitement, classes were cancelled for the day. So what did I do with my unexpected free time? Drew some Chrono Trigger fan art, of course!

This is my depiction of the final battle. Drew it in pencil, then did the coloring with colored pencils. The poses for Lucca and Marle didn't turn out as well as I'd imagined, but I'm pretty happy with Crono. What do you guys think?

Don't worry, Crono's got some revives in his pocket. He's just saving them for a while to make the fight more dramatic.  :lol:

Revives? Crono don't need no stinkin' revives...!



Anyways, I never understand Crono's stance based on the in-battle sprite...it just looks weird and I'm not sure how he's holding his sword at all...and where is it taking place? It looks like you have them on a grassy field or something...is it one of the time shifts?? Anyways...Marle's down & Lucca looks like she's in bad shape...maybe next time Crono'll learn not to take two girls with him to fight killer space parasites...? Although I take Lucca & Robo, myself (Brains>Brawn!...?)...

Heh, that beats a revive any day.

Yeah, the background is supposed to be a time shift. Those things can be all sorts of colors, so I might've been better off choosing something like red or orange.

I've always liked taking Robo and Frog with me. They have enough healing spells to support Crono, but can deal out the damage if needed as well. Buuut, I started a NewGame+ not too long before I drew this, so I got pretty used to having Marle and Lucca on my team.
