According to IGN there's some kind of date (which I don't see) on the Japanese site, but it says "200807070000", which apparently would be midnight on this upcoming Monday...I'm guessing we'll get some more detailed news then...Can't wait! ^_^

THen again, they also announced FF6 for NDS and were looking for voice actors, and yet it's not available yet. Not to mention that they also canceled half of the planned Kingdom Hearts games and FF13 games to concentrate on the main games first rather than spinoffs.

What I'm wondering though... if this is a remake in 3D of CT - how the hell did they get Toriyama, Mitsuda and Uematsu on the boat again? Especially if they parted from Square (to my knowledge).

DAMMIT I SLEPT INTO THE AFTERNOON AND JUST SAW THIS (it's 2:15pm as I type this).

I saw it on another forum, a thread titled "Could it be?", and when I saw it - honestly - I heard a thunder rumble and the rain started. I said "Oh my god" over and over. This is excellent news. Japanese version cartridge will be snug inside my DS Lite the day it's released.

Too bad my Wii can't view the flash content on the page, though.

I learned about this well over three hours ago, and the steady clockwork heartbeat of that blessed flash construct has not been absent from its place in the choir of sounds eminating from my speakers...

Even if this is just an expanded port, or a PS port, or the original release ported to DS run in an emulator, this is incredible news.

Yeah, I left that ticking on for two hours last night, just letting it dance across my brain. The Wikipedia page is going insane right now; I'm going to go totalitarian on it to keep it at its perfect quality level.
