All this surge of news is making me drool with joy! I don't want to place my expectations too high, but if all they are doing is adding extra features with upgraded graphics (this part is just my assumption), then how can it be worse? I just don't know if I can be patient enough for its release!

If I'm not mistaken, in the Alpha version there was a partially complete dungeon for it. Is that right?

The one day I visit the site again in so long only to return and find a Chrono Trigger remake for DS. Incredible.

However, no real changes so I have heard (checking gamespot). It is a disappointment, but then again, I hear a lot of gamers are getting a DS just for this game. I was hoping for something more jucier like a next gen platform release with graphical enhancements, but leave it to Square-Enix to leave us hanging...

Still hoping for a CC remake now too... But this will put CT as a 2nd remake, correct?

This is a win-win situation for all.

1.) Squeenix will see the power that will back the Chrono community, potentially leading to another Chrono sequel.

2.) This is just a remake - so it shouldn't impact fan games much (and if it does, who cares?!).

3.) They added a new dungeon?  That's-a nais!

The PSX version wasn't a remake, it was a port.  We're still unsure if this is going to be a remake (new graphics, etc).  I'm hoping it will be, might as well have something new to play through, if I wanted to play the exact same thing that was released 13 and 8 years ago, I'd play it on my SNES or PSX.  Here's hoping everything gets a facelift, graphics, music, voice-overs maybe?  In addition to the bits of new content, that is.

I think that with CT's awesome New Game+ ability that type of dungeon would actually be kind of cool! Something to actually really make you want to hit that ** level that much more...!

If your thinking remake as in 3D graphics.Then it's not a remake.
It's the same legendary game.Just ported with new features.
