HopefulDeath, I saw you credited on the CT RPGShrines page. That's a neat history to have.

If I can get a pic without the RPGamer logo on it, I'll post it in Lucca's biography.

Well, seeing as Xenogears came out before Chrono Cross, it would be more like the third game.

I've heard about it...Lucca being in the game, not Xenogears...Well, I've obviously heard of Xenogears...But I haven't played it, although I really want to...I can never find a copy when I want one...But I just got FFTactics (after formerly, and very sadly trading my old copy in), Vagrant Story, and Legend of Dragoon ($30 for all three baby! wh00t!), so, I could care less for now...Although, I am already on the fourth disk of LoD...hurm...

I liked Xenogears, but I felt that it's overated. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but I just feel that it was not anything special. :shock:

From what I'd played of Xenogears (I played a demo, I don't know if I mentioned) it certainly does NOT have the same battle system as any of the Chrono games...It has similar creative teams...well, at least, I know Kato, the main man behind the Chrono series, is also the main man behind the Xeno series...

It is an incredible game all and all. The battle system is like a more advanced version of what CC's battle system should have been, the music is by Mitsuda (need more be said) and the story and characters are all incredible. From what I've seen most people either love it or hate it, but give it a chance, cause it's a really great game.

Xenogears is awesome but I still liked Chrono Trigger better. Xengears kinda fell apart at the end and had a massively confusing story.
