Hmm... ok. Let me ask you. How long have they been working on FFXIII? I bet they understand it much more than the 360. Not to mention they made games for similar systems. PS1, PS2, and PSP. Trust me this not even a valid discussion. Look at it, they have been working on this game long enough were they would already have gotten through over 80% of the problems. Now they have to start over while still working on the PS3 version. It going to be even later, get over it.

Oh boo hoo, we have to wait even longer for a game that has strayed so far from it's roots. Oh well, I'll go stick to those real RPGs while I wait.

Ok now you are angry, and you shouldn't post when you are angry. And I understand why your not mad at SE. You just started your wait, we started in 2006.

I'm indifferent towards Square and Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy has gone downhill since XI. XII I played the demo and refused to play anymore. XIII feels like it's gone even farther than that, but I want to be glad that my once favorite series is coming to my system, since the PS3 only gets higher in price.

We wouldn't mind if it was timed exclusive but they aren't doing that.

Damn fanboys. The 360 is much closer to the PS3 then the PSP will ever be, just because that have the same names on it means there going to preform that same? beside this is there job they are good at there job so let them do there job. The game is the same game, when porting to another console that don't start from square one. Do you even know how this works?

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure that Crystal Tools (aka the White Engine) makes it even easier for SE to multi-platform between the two systems...

Yeah this is the biggest mistake ever. The 360 has a stupid cheaply made graphics chip and Square-Enix pushes graphics to their limit.

That's true it doesn't have acceleration. only it's shares It's vram with the ram like a Pc without graphic card and it has a single core processesor at 3.2mhz. It's graphic car prossesor is at 500mhz when ps3 is at 550mhz and cell procesor it has a main one at 3.5mhz and it has 4 more cores at 1.8 mhz

And that's why they take too long to make games trying to use it's full power.

I cannot wait to see what they're going to do with the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the end of their life cycles. Seriously. Like Halo 2 on the Xbox, or Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube, or Final Fantasy XII on the PS2... just pushing the hardware to the absolute limit.

The Xbox 360 is multicore, and each core is multithreaded. The Cell processor used in the PS3 has 7 SPUs working under a PPC core (as I understand the architecture).

While I still like the FF series, I'd say it started around VIII, with IX being nothing more than a tribute to its geneology.

That sounds about right as I remember reading the same in a magazine a while back...

If you remember correctly when they announced Crystal Tools, they said FFXIII is not currently being devolved on it. I remember plenty of rumors appearing afterwards about the move to all three systems, but SE replied with FFXIII was started without the Crystal Tools and they wouldn't use it for this game but instead for future development.

Yes but they are allready pusihng it to the limit. The only ps3 game that uses all of it is MGS4 but it can do more.
And not only say the damn PS3 Bluray and 180p support when Xbox 360 has only 1080i.

Whenever I see someone put up a link outside of the "OMG Check This Link Out" thread, with no explanation, this is what I'm going to do (because it bugs the shit out of me, especially, but not limited to, streaming stuff)...
