All philosophers speak of the grander purposes of life.  One need only speak to an Enhasan to be regaled with tales of wonderful, whimsical dreams, or listen as a Kajaran shouts with joy at a new discovery.  To these individuals, they are living the penultimate desires of their hearts, thus fulfilling the greater meaning of life. 

However, this is merely an illusion, brought about by willful negligence of to the truth:  Life has no meaning.  This is true of both the Enlightened and the Earthbound, despite the attempts to justify personal existence by the scholars of Kajar.  Even dreams dissolve in the end, as vaporous as air.

This is the penultimate truth of all existence: Life's only purpose is to end.

Drought of grief,
The eye alight

Nought! Zeal, the Kingdom of Dreams,
Lays beyond mists of the seas,
Among the angels of the azure blue,
And clear as crystal so faint and true...
Beyond Gods need the worth of might
Of those reams, out of our reach...
I fear blinds me the sun,
As the clouds above me stare ablaze
upon that shine that darkens the sea,
Our hearts and voices along agree
That Crimson yet stains the walls of Zeal
And thus the dreams are conquered.

...I have come to believe that magic as we know it is false. I believe that 'magic' is not an innate property of the universe, but a force created by all life in the world. However, this leaves the question. How can magic be in such abundance if we as humans inhabit the only world in the universe? It is because of this that I have come to the conclusion that we are not alone. There are certainly many more worlds that we know not of that fuel the magic bonded to the human soul. This leads me to another theory, but I will discuss that another time.

Very rough I know I just came up with this on the spot. I'll probably have a much better one up later.
