What weapon when fighting Zombies?

I know this has nothing to do with CT, but curiosity got the best of me and I just *had* to know. What would you use when fighting zombies? I would say Axe - simply because you cannot run out of axe.

I think a gun would be more useful, It's a long distance weapon and we know for experience(Resident Evil D:) that fighting zombies in close distance combat is stupid. BUT, if you apply zombies in the CT universe, I think that Sky(Chrono's) magic would be more likeable.

I really don't think you'd need any weapon, you could just run because they're exteremely slow. Really, in every zombie movie, have you ever noticed that even though the zombies move at the speed of a crippled turtle they manage to catch up to humans? Wtf!

On the DVD commentary, Boyle and Garland frequently call it a post apocalyptic, horror and zombie film, commenting on scenes that were specific references to George A. Romero's original Dead trilogy. However, during the initial marketing of the film Boyle did try to distance the film from such labels. Boyle identified John Wyndham's The Day of the Triffids as Garland's original inspiration for the story.[3] Danny Boyle says that the film isn't a science fiction horror movie but rather a drama in that environment.

I think I have the book for you, It explains that a M1 Carbine and a machete is ideal, but a crowbar can work in a pinch.
