What weapon when fighting Zombies?

I think a nuclear bomb going straight to their nest would be the most effective weapon, now that I think about it.

Nasty problem there is that a nuke might kill off the normal zombies, but any survivors in the area, and any normals who enter the area afterwards, will be horribly mutated by the radiation and become radioactive zombies. That is sort of like trying to overcome a flood by purposely opening a dam.

As for a Metal Gear, if we are going to add fictional weaponry then there would be better weapons still. Like, I dunno, a cure.

On the reality side, a good Katana. Good for head-removal. With a semi-automatic rifle or shotgun. Explosives are nice, but hard to get your hands on really useful ones like Frag grenades and Claymores. The more shrapnel the better.

On the other hand a couple dozen max-ethers and the life spell should do the trick. The Zeus Cannon would be nice too, although it would kill countless innocents...((and if anyone is unsure, I DO mean the Zeus Cannon from Final Fantasy: Spirit's Within.))
