Honestly I don't see how a Versus mode would work out. Battles would end quite quickly, I'm afraid.


I'm thinking something close to the battle arenas similar to FF7 or Golden Sun. Like a Survival Mode.

I'm gonna go with the Coliseum idea (something Bend of Time-ish?)...Maybe it'll answer where Dalton was sent and he'll constantly summon a fuckload of new monsters to test your patience until you can slap the shit out of him again.

I'd definetly wanna see something like like for example, giant maze with monsters in there blocking certain paths and two people compete to see who can reach the end of the maze first! There coud be traps, dead ends(duh), certain items you need to get from points on the maze in order to continue and at the very end for each player is a boss from the game. All opponents selected to be about the player's level. For example weaker players would face the Dragon Tank and Imps while a tougher player would face off with Giga Gaia and Beasts.

Either that or the coliseum idea...

Hmm, I'm gonna have to go with the Colosseum thing.  Although it would be awesome if they included RD like Tact said.  I've always wanted to play that.

Scavenger Hunt FTW.  PVP sounds like it would be a lot of fun, but if there's only the same items being used, like if everyone's lvl 70 with Crono, Marle, and Frog, everyone's gonna have the Rainbow, Siren, and Masamune.  It'll get pretty old pretty quick.

PVP would actually show people that there really is strategy behind a strategy style game which most people oddly fail to see.
