I disagree - I think a lack of post does not necessarily indicate dead silence is one's response. But there's no doubt, for example, that "..." would mean that. Just to say, is all.

xD Sorry. ^_^; I heard once that the Terra Tower's last boss was called "Lunar Dragon" (Not "TimeDevourer") in the Japanese version, and said boss is female, so...

Terra Tower's last boss is the Dragon God, called the "TimeDevourer" b/c it's an avatar of the real Time Devourer, Lavos.

And all this because I made a lame attempt at humor about dating a boss enemy. @_@ I really should just quit while I'm ahead, here. And never again think that the final boss of the game will always look to me more like the Mammon Machine than Lavos...

Ehh, I'll admit, when I finally saw the Time Devourer, I was unable to believe it as it hardly looked anything like Lavos.

Dream Devourer would be even better. Maybe even the redesign that Justin made.

Dream Devourer just throws me. @_@ It's kinda like "Did the Devourer's appearance really change THAT MUCH before Chrono Cross? Or is this a different being all together?"

Dream Devourer does look different compared to Lavos, and I can understand where you're coming from in that question.



That's the redesigned Dream Devourer that Justin made. Looks kickass, IMO.

As for the two different Magi... ISDK (I Seriously Don't Know), but remember the party doesn't belong there.

Hmm, fair enough. Although, and maybe it's just me, but it seems like the script didn't quite make enough of the possibility of Magus being in/leading your party when you meet this "other" Magus/Prophet/whatever. I was kinda expecting more. But maybe I'm just crazy. Heh.

It's just too bad, since that whole incident could have been made a non-canon "What if?" scenario, that one can't make an attempt to at least do something similar to Earth->Fire->Wind->Water->Heart...erm, Darkness->Light in that fight. I suppose without the Chrono Cross, it'd be a useless gesture anyway, but I just wonder if it'd have had the same effect (or any at all) on the creature as said actions would have on the Time Devourer in Chrono Cross.

And could you do a before and after thing? @_@ I'm afraid I've only battled Dream Devourer once in CT DS, so I don't have his original look fresh in my mind. Thus a comparison showing a picture of one then the other would help. ^_^; Sorry.

I know the feeling. I once suggested he add Sigma heads to Lavos 2 and Lavos Core. They were quite funny.
