How many times have you beat the game?

I didn't get EVERYthing when i finished in that time. With 100% my quickest is 3 hours and 36 minutes. I didn't even know people actually did speed runs of this, I usually assumed that was something done with platformer games. So, from what you say, i'm pretty close to the record, but not quite there.
And yeah if you think it is unreasonable my fresh from the start number of times, you REALLY would think me crazy with how many times total. With New game + I mean, beating the game at any given point, including the begining.

I just wanted to get all the endings and I finished the game in 1 hour (newgame+). Beating lavos with marle and crono in 10 min. LOL

In CC I only managed to choose the nikki path once and almost never killed the black dragon. I started to think if you say that new game + counts then I beat the game more than 20 times each.

I've never actually beat CC I may give it another try after I finish Lunar.

I admit i'm somewhat skeptical as well...  Is that time you beat it in like....human time or game time?  If it's game time you really ought to record yourself doing it....it's seriously.....unprecedented...  If it's human time and you're using an emulator I'm assuming your "fast forwarding" and this becomes somewhat more reasonable.

Don't get me wrong i'm not judging......i'm going to go ahead and go out and say that minus the three guru's i'm probably the most knowledgable person of this game ON THE PLANET....and i've probably spent more time looking at the games code than some of the developers who created the game so I definitely don't have room to judge you...

Also (just to show how many times triple digits is) I've played crimson echoes back to forth ALOT of times but I wouldn't say I'm in the triple digits.....and i defintely wouldn't say I'm in the triple digits easily.....and this is someone creating the game and testing it not just someone playing the game for fun in their free time.

I do not use an emulator, in fact i have no clue how those work. It's almost like a routine, at least once a week I beat the game. Usually it's about 2-4 times a week.
And my faster times it's always because I usually just go through the plot causethat's what I love most about the game. If you want an exact number last i checked was 579. I dunno know right now I have a counter but haven't checked it in awhile.

Not every time, most times. The game only takes about when not rushing through 4-5 hours to beat. I don't see how it's THAT surprising. But that's just me, you don't have to believe if you don't want to believe. And by the way I checked it and it currently says 592.
I made this in curiousity as to how much others have done it, not to claim any sort of betterness over anybody. I was just surprised to learn that I do play this game almost as much as somebody practices a religion.

I don't know how to record it without me just putting a camera in front of my TV. And that quality is hard to see. it's visble although a lot of people refuse to admit to that, just hard to see.

The same way you'd get cam footage onto a VCR cassette tape only backwards and into a computer instead of a cam.

You really don't need to plop down a $100 for a good tuner. Cheap and way worth it.
