How many times have you beat the game?

I'm curious as to how many times, from the very begining to the very end(not including new game+)have you actually beaten the game?

Probably 5 for trigger and twice for Cross without new game +.

WITH new game plus, 24 for Trigger and 8 for Cross.

I beat Trigger like 10 times and Cross like 6 or 7...

Because I always finish the game and then when I don't have any new one I just start all over again.

Twice, I think. And once with New Game+.

I tend not to play through the entirety of a game several times; usually I'll start a new playthrough and move to another game instead half-way. I have a serious crapload of uncompleted CT and FFIX save files, spread across different sections of the game. It's the case with a lot of my RPGs, actually...

As for Cross, finished it once, New Game+ wasn't possible on an emulator, and my PC died shortly after the start of my second game. Currently playing a new game on my PSP.

Probably around 20~25 times...Although this includes New Game+, it's from beginning to end with all the sidequests (except for the Gold Rock which was one of the absolute LAST things I ever found out about)...Including the various non-ending endings it'd be more like 40~50...New Game only, it'd only be about 4~6 with a current game going now.

Holy crap...
I think i do have a serious issue with this game if hardcore Chrono fans have beaten it that many times.
Not including new game+ I'm in the triple digits easy.

I must say it now. I HAVE NEVER TRULY BEATEN CHRONO TRIGGER. Never. I'm never strong enough at the end. But I have beaten Cross. Once. Without New Game +. With? ... twice.

How do I count as hardcore again?

Oh yeah, I forgot about RD & CC...RD only once & all the alternates...only did two of the alternate Kid & the Sunflower endings though, I think...CC I've done two or three New Games & then all the NG+ endings.

I blame the instruction booklet of CT for most of my playthroughs of that...there's a pic that shows ALL stats at ** and exp with 99999999999 (or w/e the max numbers are), so I kept playing hoping that I would eventually be able to max out junk like my Evade stat to ** (w/o Third Eye)...

It does consume a lot of my time, like I've said it is a pretty important part of my life and I'd be about 89% a different person without Chrono.
My fastest time that i did(I don't time them all)was 2 hours and 59 minutes.

Radical dreamers I beat about 13 times, wish I'd gotten the chance to play it more, barely remember it.
Chrono Cross I've beat exactly(without new game +)89 times, with new game + I've beaten Cross 128 times.
Trigger with new game +... you'd never believe me if I told you. Either that or you might think I enjoy it too much.

Not counting cheat codes to get all the stuff I needed on the comp... probably just the one time when I was a kid, all the way through.

That's not to say I haven't played it many many more times in New Game+, or that I can't recite the gamescript backwards, I just didn't see much point starting over from the very beginning without items to complete it when I had a perfectly awesome save file already.

However, I'm currently at the Ocean Palace in a non New Game + playthrough I started a few months back to re-immerse myself in the experience, but I keep getting called away from it. There's the DS one coming out soonish, though!

Can't really say for sure.  I never really kept count.  It seems my normal gaming sequence used to be as follows.

Play CT/CC all the way through
New RPG and a 1st person shooter
Play CT/CC all the way through
Play some new adventure game
Repeat

Now it is more like...

Play 12 Sky (MMORPG)
Take a break and play CT/CC/RD
Back to 12 Sky
Take a break and play CT/CC/RD
Repeat

I must say the chrono series truly is the only series I can never get enough of.  I will have every re-make and origional game in the series in mint condition until the day I die.  I do have a life outside of chrono and 12 Sky, but I take pride in those two gaming aspects.

I've only beaten Trigger once so far, but I'm on my second.  Cross I think I've beaten it once or twice, and I'm almost done with it again.  They're has been at least once where I've gotten pretty far in Cross then stopped playing to play something else, then when I come back I feel like starting over.

CT: 5 or 6
CTNG+:12 or 13

CC: 3
CCNG+:10 or 11

ONSLAUGHT I have to say I am some what skeptical thats true. Several hundred time is not impossible but it is quite unreasonable. Plus if that time is accurate its destroys the current world record for CT speed runs. (3:34 finished, 6:31 finished 100%, 00:07:50 finished NG+)
