Hoshi no Yume Presents...

The Chrono Trigger doujinshi project.

You are probably curious to what this about, eh?

The Chrono Trigger doujinshi will cover from the beginning of the Chrono Trigger story to the very end of it.
Chrono trigger deserves to have a whole manga series, and since there is none even now, this is why we're here.
I'm gathering talented artists who can draw manga so a Chrono Trigger fan manga will be possible. There are many talented doujinshi artists out there. if all these doujinshi can be made then a Chrono Trigger fan manga is possible.
once each volume is made they will be released online for free for download or for online viewing.

if anyone here is interested in helping with this project, feel free to add me to msn messenger or email me at: DranzerX13@hotmail.com

Looks like the effort is being undertaken by someone in any case, and it looks like a darned high-quality project. Were you aware of this artist, Dranzer?

Holy bajeezus, what a great comic! Inspires lots of great nostalgia. Here's the author's Deviantart frontpage so you can all see it from the beginning.

Holy hell! Whoever Amy Guardia is, she's ridiculously good! She certainly raised the bar on this one.

Yeah, I was searching for Toma arts when I came across that. Hahaha! So little Toma in Chrono fanart, so that was a real treat.

(Jeez, did Toma moon Crono in that comic? I swear I posted the "treat" comment before I saw page 54 ).

Why do so many people seem to think that there's lots of free talent floating around, and all it needs is "management" or "leadership"? Like someone who does have talent is just going to buddy up with someone for their "idea" and let them manage everything.

Talent has a way of flowing towards those projects with hard-working leaders who intend to make things happen regardless of who helps and who doesn't. But when it comes to things like this, talent usually appears in the form of one-man pet projects without any deadlines or management; just plenty of personal interest and taste.

It takes 10000 hours of training to make truly expert talent. 8000 for really advanced talent, and 4000 for professional talent. Even an amateur with some skill has probably put in around 1000 hours. If you haven't even put 10 hours into your project, what hope do you have of recruiting anyone like that?
