A lot of screenshots that make you want to KILL SQUARE for canceling thsi project and a few teaser trailers.  Definately worth checking out, just to see what a PS2 Chrono would look like.

Meh, I was never too impressed by them because they were so stupid about it, plain and simple. They greased up the fans and they went ballistic and exploded themselves. I would blame the fans before Square, and thusly, I would blame those at CTR before the fans. Looks good for a fan-made project, but if Square wanted to do it, it'd look better. It woulda been nice, sure, but how can you blame Square for enforcing their rights?

Wait it was supposed to be released for consoles? I thought it was for PC.

It's a shame that it was cancelled... BUT, this can be seen as kinda good news as well, because since Square is enforcing their rights on the Chrono Series, it might mean they want to add a new game to the series...

I'm pretty sure I heard they were going to release it for both consoles and PC...

Also, why wouldn't Square want to make another Chrono game? Even years after the release of the last game in the series, it still holds as one of their most popular (NA) franchises. I think they're talent is just too busy and they're holding off until they've got the time to devote the right people to the project. They could get Kato at least...sure...

Also, why wouldn't Square want to make another Chrono game? Even years after the release of the last game in the series, it still holds as one of their most popular (NA) franchises. I think they're talent is just too busy and they're holding off until they've got the time to devote the right people to the project. They could get Kato at least...sure...

Kato and Mitsuda have to both be on the game, no excuses. it wouldn't be the same without them. I agree, I would want them to plan the third one out completly. I would have to assume that it would be the final installment in the series. Unless they decide to get all crazy and start making more.

I say it would be the final just because of how SquareEnix works. It doesn't seem like a move they would make to restart the series. Even though it does have limitless storyline possibilities. If only they saw it like we did...
