Schala to appear in FF4 sequel??

Okay, if anyone isn't aware, Square Enix is coming out with a sequel to Final Fantasy 4 called Final Fantasy 4: The After. I was reading through it ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_IV_the_After:_Tsuki_no_Kikan ) and came across this:

Mysterious Maiden

A mysterious woman with blue hair and clothing who possesses powerful magic and the ability to summon Eidolons. She decimates the Red Wings, leaving Ceodore as the only survivor, and later enters the Feymarch where she turns Leviathan and Ashura to stone, stating that she has come for their powers, before leading an assault against the Kingdom of Baron.[5] In the Jump Festa demo, she refuses to tell Cecil her name, stating that members of an inferior species don't deserve to know it.

While parts of it sound like her (blue hair and possessing powerful magic), most of it sounds far too antagonistic to be Schala: decimating an opponent, stealing powers, and assaulting kingdoms. And it sounds very un-Schala-like to call someone an inferior species. I'd assume it's a Lunarian, but then again I haven't the faintest clue about this game.

I'm pretty sure that they've already begun to release that game (it comes out in episodic parts monthly or something)...but what makes you think that's her besides a vague description that's sort of similar to Schala...? Is every blue-haired girl who knows something vaguely magical going to be Schala to you or something?

I just read up on Hal, it sounds like she's a different character than this other blue haired woman: Hal is some kind of secretary, while the unnamed character sounds more like the new antagonist of the series. But I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong...I've never even played this game...

Outside of having blue hair and magical prowess they don't sound that similar to me...

Well, if it's green hair instead of blue, then it might remind you of Rydia in FF4 or Tina in FF6.
BTW, Sarah might be a quite common name among RPGs, e.g., Princess Sara from FF1, Princess Sarah from FF3, and someone might know, Princess Garnet from FF9 used to be Sarah too(before she was adopted by Queen Brahne).

Why would CT characters be in an FF game. If that seriously happens it'll be stupid.

Well some people contend that Magus had a small cameo in FF6 and some people thought it was a nice nod to CT, but others, of course, prefer continuity to shout outs--it's all about preference.

Right, but we don't even have evidence that this characters name is going to be Sarah, all we're going by is description.

Even that Magus nod I don't think is a Magus nod.  FF6 came out before CT.  Plus, an amulet like that doesn't seem THAT unique or unordinary.

As for Schala in FFIV: The After, I've already put my two cents in: not related.

Oh, I agree completely about the Magus nod--it's a dubious claim at best--but I was trying to point out how some people take slight things and may consider them cameos and whatnot.

In all honesty this appearance of "Schala" sounds a lot more like a Queen Zeal-type character than a Schala type.
