I have to say, FF7 is pretty overrated. And after last year I stopped caring. But if his position is actually going to help him in reality, then alright, I shall do whatever I can do assist him. Plus, he has to already have some sort of reputation for kicking that joke's ass.

The jokes are to be killed, and that's the one reason I care suddenly. Crono actually beat the most powerful joke of all. if he could do that, he stands a chance as long as he gets support(which doesn't happen too often for obvious reasons). Now that he's coming out with something, it might actually slightly matter.

It's a freakin popularity poll on a gaming website...what could it possibly change? It's a step under an online petition! I'm very dubious about ZeaLitY's claim that it could even possibly promote series awareness...Mostly people vote for who they know (that's how popularity works) and ignore the others...Does GameFAQs link the characters to their game/series pages even? I highly doubt they'd go that far. So people who don't know are going to have to, like, Google the name of Crono or whoever they don't happen to know on the list if for some reason them going further along in the polls interested them...

You know why I'm so bitter? Because even I was able to win a popularity contest when I was a Freshman in High School (Freshman Class President)! I was terrible, btw.

I don't remember what time the poll ends, but it looks like Crono is going to lose to Vincent Valentine by about 200 votes.

Way I see it, if it were 100% popularity, Vincent would have won...BUT Crono won, so there is hope for it. And even then I never went by popularity, I've always gone by who is the most heroic or most villainous most well developed character of all.

And also, it can help because I know tons of people who when they see their favorite character get beaten by someone else they're all angry why and begin researching the winner to see "just what's so special about them" and sometimes they actually like their discoveries. yet to happen with Crono, but Crono hasn't beaten anyone my friends enjoy...YET.

Now it serves more purpose and I care somewhat cause Crono has a game coming up, and it might get him recognized even more since I've noticed whoever wins they'll usually make more of a deal for on Gamespot, where it isn't about popularity.

Meh, FFVII popularity's been on the backslide for a while, now...I think most of the credit goes to the compilation (but also because it's just older now)...and Vincent had probably the worst received new game of the compilation...and as many may say, he was optional.
