@ Mav: Yes, that's what I said in Rox's thread... I think her attack techs should be centered around heavenly bodies. (Starfall is calling down small stars to explode and damage an enemy, Comet calls down a huge ball of light, and her last tech is a blast of holy sunlight or something... That's what I had in mind, anyway)

And yes, Schala's affinity should definitely be Light. Affinities should reflect on personalities, I think.

When was this supposed to be canon, Boo? This was non-canon from the start due to Schala's fate changing.

Actually we were gonna give Schala "Light" with the actual element being a relative, like how Ice is related to Water, and yet Marle is not listed as Ice but as Water, like Frog.

One, no need for the @ since you can just quote if necessary. I did it to make a point.

Two, I agree with Star being her actual element. How about she use Skygate like Zeal does?

, I didn't mean to say that we should include a new element: I always considered Marle's element and Frog's element to be the same, just with different names, so couldn't Schala's element technically be the same as Crono's element, just with a different name? Basically what Darkman said, just with more words. :P

Oh and, yeah, I followed Rox's thread for quite a while--a lot of information we're going to end up needing for this project can probably be found in that topic.

Dark is not considered a combination of the other three elements at all.
Spekkio mentions it as an independent category when listing the magic types. I'm sure he would have mentioned it. I was thinking we could just state in the game that prism is a sub category of light, or the other way around. If we did add in a different category of magic, I think we should change Spekkio's dialogue to mention it.

Antipode and Delta Force are Shadow. I think that's enough proof for you.

Also, I seem to recall Spekkio saying somewhere (in the Retranslation, I think) about Shadow being a combination of the others... Or was that someone in Zeal? o_o?

People have already tried it. (the fight against Magus is a good one, too) Also, in CTDS there's a "dojo" that lets you view information on every character tech you've seen in the game, as well as their elements.

since everybody thinks we should have her techs light or heavenly, heavenly peal would be a good on to use. Dreambind could be her magic category and it could be a branch of dark since it is used by dd.
